Anthony Wayne Rehabilitation Center for the Handicapped and Blind, Inc. (AWRC) is a not-for-profit company which serves individuals with disabilities and those with behavioral health needs. Several programs and divisions are part of AWRC, including:
AWRC Crisis Services, which operate throughout northeast Indiana. Behavioral health crises can happen with anyone, anytime, and anywhere, so our crisis response and intervention teams have someone on-call 24/7/365. Our teams are made of highly trained and compassionate individuals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and Certified Peer Specialists. AWRC collaborated with Benchmark Human Services to launch this program. Benchmark also delivers mobile crisis response services in Georgia, Idaho, and Oklahoma. Tandem, AWRC Industries, and Highway Safety Specialists are our industrial operations divisions. The mission of AWRC’s industrial operations divisions is to provide meaningful job opportunities for people with disabilities, including disabled service veterans, while also providing high-quality services with exceptional customer care. Our industrial operations divisions are ISO 9001:2008 Certified.
Camp Red Cedar, which serves hundreds of kids through our summer camps, riding programs, horse shows and rentals. Camp Red Cedar’s mission is to encourage children and adults of all abilities to move beyond their boundaries through recreational activities, creative arts, and interaction with horses, in an integrated environment serving people of all abilities.
